ROLL CALL - Councilor Jacobs, McNabb, and Dempsey Present; Mayor Carnicelli, Councilor Hunter absent. Councilor Hunter arrived shortly after roll call. Mayor Carnicelli was on vacation.

WORK SESSION
· Officer Thomas Weed - Traffic Presentation
City Manager John Salomone introduced Officer Weed. Officer Weed presented Council with two proposed changes to traffic laws in the City of Auburn.
1. Limiting parking time to 2 hours for recreational vehicles parked on streets.
2. Recommended making James St. one-way from Genesee to Orchard St.
Council discussed these changes with Officer Weed, Chief Giannotta and the City Manager.

Steve Lynch and Vijay Mital presented Council with a Power Point presentation and update to the plans for downtown. Council discussed. Sandy Craner, Executive Director of the ADP and Dave Contigulia, Board Member of ADP and downtown business owner spoke in support of changes to plan and moving forward.
OTHER BUSINESS
Council Resolution #52 of 2002 authorizing the March 28, 2002 regular City Council meeting to commence at 4:30PM. Councilor Jacobs, McNabb, Hunter and Dempsey vote aye. PASSED
Councilor Hunter reported that he attended a meeting and tour at NUCOR today with other members of AIDA. He reported that NUCOR had just won an award from the EPA. Vijay Mital also commented on the tour and visit.
PUBLIC TO BE HEARD
Motion to adjourn to Executive Session by Councilor Jacobs seconded by Councilor Dempsey at 7:00PM. All in favor. Meeting ended at 7:45PM Items for discussion included: the financial history of a particular corporation; the proposed lease of real property; and proposed litigation.
